Description Product Info

Exterior ballistics is a very mature science. Unfortunately, most shooters have not been able to take full advantage of this field of knowledge because it’s always been described in a highly technical language.
In this book, author, champion shooter and Ballistician Bryan Litz breaks down the complex science of accuracy into layman’s terms that are easy to understand and apply. The objective of each subject matter is to present information to the reader which they can use to hit targets at long range.

New for this Third Edition
The traditional role of exterior ballistics has been to account for the variables related to bullet flight so accurate fire solutions can be computed. Author Bryan Litz believes that ballistics has more to offer. Weapon Employment Zone (WEZ) analysis is the calculation of hit percentages. New for this third edition, the subject of WEZ analysis is explored and some enlightening topics are presented regarding the effects of environmental uncertainties on your hit percentage, as well as how the ballistic performance of your rifle and bullet affects hit percentage as well. This edition also includes the latest version of the Applied Ballistics Point Mass Solver on CD. Combined with experimentally measured BC’s, this program is capable of modeling extremely accurate trajectories as verified in Chapter 8. Los que no sabemos inglés, deberíamos de poder entender todo lo que se explica.
Piensa lo que te digo y seguro que se verían incrementadas las ventas. Aparte del buen servicio al cliente.

Struggle or Read this Book! May 7, 2016
Reviewer: Phillip Ziegler from Danbury, CT United States
It seemed to me, that to learn ballistics was going to be way too technical, and for me, hard to ingest well enough to put to good use. The way this book is written makes absorbing the knowledge of ballistics far easier than what I thought it would be. I’m no math wiz but, the way in which the formulas are laid out makes it relatively easy to comprehend. Mr. Litz presents the formulas three different ways, which seems redundant, but when you’re completely lost on the first way, he presents it in two more ways which in most cases flips the switch of understanding to ON. I put this to good use in the field when trying to hit 300 and 350 yard steels. I noticed my bullet was set for G1. I did not know the G7 BC. I learned from the book that the sectional density SD is very close to the G7 BC of a bullet. Remembering the formula for Sectional Density, I figured it and applied it to the app for a G7 BC. Bang! Repeated hits on both targets.
